‘'Untitled (Stamped and Addressed Manila Envelope Filled with Stuffing from 'Bagpuss' Soft Toy, Posted to Post-methodists, Lincoln as Part of The Broadcaster Project, and Documented as Part of the Exhibition 'REGIFT (but Emily loved him)' at The Mews Project Space, London, 11th July 2009)’, 2009, A5 Manila Envelope, Stuffing, 30x21x11cm

The Broadcaster project consists of two permanent notice boards located outside converted chapels in in two villages in rural Lincolnshire, Waddington and Wellingore. Each notice board is a venue for exhibitions curated by the curatorial group Postmethodists.

For the first exhibition of the Broadcaster project, 'B.Noticed', artists were invited to produce 2D artworks responding to the context of a village notice board, and provided with an envelope in which to send their contributions.

We took the stuffing removed from a Bagpuss soft toy as part of 'REGIFT (but Emily loved him)' and stuffed our envelope with it before sending it back to Lincoln. An image of the work became part of the 'REGIFT' exhibition.
