Associates was exhibited at Associates, 92 Hoxton St, London N1, from noon til midnight on the 21st of January 2007, as part of Temporary Measures, a series of twelve twelve-hour solo exhibitions curated by Andrew Bonacina and Rebeccca May Marston. Associates extended the curatorial mechanism of Temporary Measures to offer solo exhibitions to 156 other practitioners. We invited 12 artists to take part, and in turn to select a further twelve artists to be involved in the show. No physical work changed hands though, it was a straight swap.
